Dianna Powrie is a gifted local artisan making significant contributions to Vanora Studio. Her lifelong passion for the arts has evolved over the years, with the last 6-7 years dedicated to mastering new techniques such as Broomstick Lace and Hairpin Lace, among others. Currently, her focus lies in working with natural fibers and artisan yarns, reflecting her commitment to quality craftsmanship. 

 

As a self-taught artist, Dianna is driven by a desire for excellence in her work. The influences of her diverse hobbies are evident in her creations, which showcase her talents in calligraphy, colored pencils, pastels, watercolor, embroidery, and beading. Additionally, her deep love for animals inspires many of her pieces, often weaving them into her artistic expressions.

 

Dianna's nurturing spirit shines through not only in her artwork but also in her role as a teacher. Her generosity and kindness enrich the learning experience for her students, fostering a warm environment in which creativity thrives. We are truly fortunate to have Dianna Powrie as one of our esteemed artisan teachers at Vanora Studio.
